Arlene P. Lyp, a former longtime resident of Mt. Prospect for 46 years and Fox Lake, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 28th, 2018 in Glenview surrounded by 3 of her loved ones as the angels brought her to the Lord.
She was born in Chicago, IL on August 8th,1936.
She is preceded in death by her late mother Frances Weber, her husband Joseph Lyp Jr. and son Wayne J. Lyp. Devoted Mother of Gary (Lisa) Lyp and Jodi (Tom) Peck.
Very proud grandmother of Brittany nee Lyp (Alic) Bandy, Brandon Lyp, Jolene Peck, Tiffany Lyp, Cody and Mikayla Lyp, and Jason Peck. She is loved by many nieces and nephews.
She worked as a waitress for many years at Jake’s Pizza & Pub and was a loving nanny to different families through the years.
She will be missed dearly by many friends and family.

Visitation Saturday November 3, 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd., (Rt. 83) & Lincoln St., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056.
